Alpine Traverse pours a brilliant golden hue, with a pristine white head. It greets you with a floral bouquet, accompanied with aromas of pear, orange, and candied-lemon that intermingle with a honey-sweetness from the malt. It is dry, and lively, with a lingering spiciness.

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with light foamy head. Aromas of pears and candied citrus as advertised plus bready malts. Flavors of pears, limes, lemon wax, sharp bitter banana skin, and bready malts. Nice

Draught at the brewery
Hazy golden colour. Mild coriander aroma. Robust body, moderately sweet and not cloying, the sugar is balanced by the spicy character of the yeast, by the alcohol and by the bitterness, for a pleasant experience.
A bold beer that could have been brewed in Belgium indeed, not the dry style like Duvel, a rounder kind of Tripel.
Excellent.
