Handpull cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Amber/gold, with a thick white head and good lacing. Malty aroma, toast with biscuit spread and orange peel make a cautious appearance. Sweet malty taste, but it’s got a bit of a sour backwash. Weird sour woody-malty finish. Not as sold on this one but it’s passable and has some genuinely nice qualities. Just unbalanced.

Gravicask, shared with Finn at St Albans Beer Festival. Cloudy golden coloured body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Modest malt-fruity aroma. Fruit and pale malty flavours with a papery like finish. Not that good (25.09.2014).
