Al naso un profumo intenso e con un bouquet di spezie che lascia inebriati e incuriositi di scoprire le singole note delle varie spezie (cannnella, cardamomo, chiodi di garofano, coriandolo, ginepro, pepe rosa, zenzero, noce moscata...)
In bocca l'amaro è deciso, balsamico, speziato e ilcorpo mediamente secco;ha una piacevole persistenza
Abbinamento con tutti i dolci della tradizione natalizia, ma anche, grazie alla sua media secchezza,
con carni molto speziate o pesce azzurro alla griglia o anguilla marinata.

Bottle from Domus Birrae drunk on my way to the airport. This Italian made Belgian style Christmas beer clocks in at 8.7% and set me back 6€. A dark muddy brown pour with a thin soapy beige head. A bready spicy nose of cinnamon & nutmeg. The taste is tge spiciest Christmas ale I had in Italy but much weaker than US spice bombs. The body is med-thin so a bit light the taste is spices, sweet and malty. Decent.

Draught @ [ Birre Sotte L’Albero 2012 ]@ Open Baladin Roma, Via degli Specchi 6, Roma, Italy 00186.Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, dark malt, caramel, spicy, cinnamon, X-mas spces - allspice - star anis - cardamom, nutmeg. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy bitter, X-mas spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121216]

Ambrato piuttosto carico alloro cannella cardamomo media schiuma discreta persistenza leggera cannella media secchezza etilico abbastanza nascosto speziatura intensa chiodo di garofano
