Pours deep gold and has a very musty apple aroma. The flavor is dry with apple, grape, a hint of citrus. Funky/musty finish.

Clear 750ml from South Hill. First bottle leaked all the way here & they sent me one with a better cork on the next club shipment. Served to cold into a baby Duvel glass @home. Clear, spirited effervescence, deep orange-amber color. Soft melon, creamy, bitter-sharp apple, bitter herbal, sweet floral, slightly boozy nose. A little weak overall. Really potent, beady, extra fizzy bubbles. No wonder the first bottle popped. Rose & bitter veg. Half-sharp apples, dry grape, creamy-clay yeast, very slight spice. Medium hidden acid, low tartness. Moderately tannic finish pushes excessively bitter in a somewhat good way. This is quite thin & dry but not dead dry. It gets wetter & significantly more floral as it warms. #champagnealternative Good to great.
