Can. Pours extremely hazy dark yellow/ochre with a frothy beige head, citrus-pine aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel-mango taste with piney flavor, alcohol undertones, smooth thin body, long medium bitter finish. Decent NE DIPA.

Pint can from Citywide Liquors. New brewery! Brewery # 2083, USA # 1685, Indiana # 30. Hazy orange, medium off-white head, good retention. Aroma of orange, orange zest, tropical fruit. Taste is melon, tropical fruit, orange, pale malt. Juicy, mild bitterness. Nice.

It says “double ipa” on the can, but I’d definitely consider it a hazy iipa. If I’d read the fine print first I’d have seen it described as mildly bitter. There’s a huge difference between something like this beer and an IIPA like Bell’s Hopslam or Stone Ruination. To me, calling them the same style is misleading. Just put “hazy” on the beer can/label if that’s what it is. Anyway, rant concluded, it’s hazy light yellow with a two finger lingering head. It smells and tastes very citrusy. There’s some resin in there and plenty of malty sweetness. Mild bitterness. Medium body.
