Bottle. Pours an almost clear, golden body with a minimal, white head. Fruity and malty nose that’s rather pleasant and sure not heavy. The flavor has a slightly papery touch, with umami, fruityness and a touch of hops. Medium body. Fruity finish. A nice, yet kinda odd, fruity beer. (070118)

330 ml bottle. Hazy, dark golden body with a small white head. Aroma is grain and caramel. Refreshing but fades away by a thin body and a bit metallic aftertaste.

The bottle looks not so good, very much like a öko-beer. A little bit turbid, fine foam. Tastes nearly like a hefeweizen, fruity, zippy. Really not bad!

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a little dense white head. Slight citric and malty aroma. Citric and slight wheaty/spelt flavour. Ends mellow wheaty with a long lasting wheat-like/spelt flavour.

0.33l bottle courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!) This poured a typical weizen murky dark orange colour. Medium white head, went away fast. The nose was quite impressive. Heavy banana and yeast nose, dominated by a pronounced, and somehow odd clove note (got to be because of spelt). This has a lot of character, though, I’m not sure if I like it much. This odd, heavy, clove spiciness mingles with some overripe bananas, with just a hint of tobacco ash. Surprisingly enough, not that refreshing. An interesting beer, no doubt about it, though I doubt I’d have it again.

Test vom 12.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,12,13,11,8,11 - 11,20

Bottle: Hazy, golden coloured, thin foamy layer; cloves inthe aroma, citrusy notes, too; sweet fruity start, sweet flavour, a bit sticky texture; short fruity and yeasty finish with a tinge of "perfumed bubble-gum" aroma. Not refreshing, this "spelt", and no pleasure..........
