Draft at Merrifield location. Pours a coper color with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, malts. Flavor is malt, toasted, nuts, toffee. A pretty good one of it’s style. Easy to consume.

Sampled at Brew at the Zoo at the National Zoo in Washington D.C. 4oz sample poured a transparent dark, maple brown with a thin white head. Nose is alright, grainy, bready with a hint of chocolate. Flavor is similar, more fruits, breads and grains - the chocolate malts really come through on the flavor making it very sweet. Finish is flat and a little watery. I’m not a fan of lagers but I actually liked this.
