White Water is brewed using traditional German techniques, but without the traditional weizen yeast. The result is a light, clean taste that makes for an easy-drinking beer. The White Water name was not chosen to honor the famous Arkansas real estate but instead to commemorate a white water rafting trip.

Pours a golden color with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, banana, and cloves. Flavor is, well, pretty bland. It’s drinkable, but I wouldn’t make this a staple of my regular beers from Shenandoah.

Medium golden with a large, yet quickly receeding white head. Stinky overly sweetened grassy aroma, yuck. Flavor is grassy and artifically sweet, and it’s very funky-tangy in the mouth. Yick, not worth drinking.

Slightly hazy golden amber colour-looks like apple cider-no head at all! Slightly yeastie aroma full of canned corn-not too pleasant. Light-bodied; Very mild wheat flavour with some slight citrus notes. Aftertaste has notes of citrus and wheat with a slight bitterness. Overall, a decent beer-I was expecting a bit more! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Shenandoah Brewing Company in Alexandria, Virginia and sampled it on 22-November-2003.
