Helder lichtgeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitterzoet en vrij vlak met een beetje citrus en gras.

Herbsthäuser Goldmärzen, vom Faß im Ochsen, Westernhausen. - Dunkelgoldgelb, klar. - In der Nase milde orangenfruchtige Hopfung. - Anfangs für ein Märzen etwas leicht, fein karamellig-toastmalzig, schwach nussig. Hintergründige orangenfruchtig-herbale Hopfung. Schüttelt man die überschüssige Kohlensäure heraus, ändert sich das Bild: ein sauber gerstiger Körper mit zarter Honignote und schöner märzentypischer Tiefe erscheint. Feiner Nachtrunk mit Bitterorange. - Solides Märzen, das erst nach längerer Bekanntschaft seine Reize entfaltet. (28.9.2021.)

50cl bottle. Pours clear deep golden colour with a huge good lasting white head. Aroma of pale malt, grains, spices. Taste of grainy pale malt, soft metallic hops, boring!

Thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy, mild sweetish notes. Dry background. More and more spicy, a bit woody. Could be more balanced. Okay.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a long to average duration, sweet malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130104]

Bottle @ Late Night Fonefan/Brugmansia Tasting, January 2013. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Sweet malty and bready nose and flavor. Some shy hops in the end.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and light grassy. Mild sweet malty and toasted, light caramelish flavoured. Light bitter and toasted malty finish.
