This foeder aged mixed culture sour beer is a collaboration with our friends at Whispering Horse Winery. Aged extensively in white oak for a mature acidity, with deep red wine characteristics from the dornfelder or "black riesling" grapes provided by Whispering Horse, followed by notes of sweet grape from our own farm grown concords.

Dark purple, no head, nice vinous fruit, mellow sour, quite tart, and that cuts the fruity richness.
