Brewed with a new German hop varietal called Tango, as well as Saaz, Just a Pils comes at you with the typical noble character you’d expect out of a pils: herbaceous, snappy, and with a soft but full bitterness. The Tango, however, adds this hard-to-pin down tropical aroma, as if it is coming from another room. All of this finishes with a beautiful bread-y malt character.

Tap at the source.
Clear golden pour, huge white head. Big grassy aroma, solid cereals
Light, and crisp. Light bitterness, soft cereal, and floral hop finish. Fantastic

12oz shared with Josh @ Ryan's (thx for the beer, man!). Appearance: almost clear blonde with a white head. Aroma: flowery and a bit grassy, crispy. Taste: along the same lines, quite bitter. Overall: refreshing, but a bit too bitter for me.

Pale gold, there's a fair bit of grassy noble hop on the aroma. A bit of pale malt, some spiciness there, too, almost like cumin seed. On the palate, dry, lean, good pale malt. Moderate bitterness, again with a herbaceous hop, and again a slight cumin note... so Tango is a new hop for me and this is a new character for me. I'm guessing that's not a coincidence. Very solid brew.

Poured from 355mL can (thanks Sammy; pkg 13/Oct/2023). Clear blonde with white head. Mild grassy hops, hint of tropical notes, interesting combo, decent.
