The British Empire had a big problem. The British Army could not be expected to perform well without the availability of good beer. The beer arriving in Bombay from London was virtually undrinkable. The preservative powers of hops made the answer obvious… More hops! India Pale Ale was born. Of course, we have pronounced hop flavors and aromas in our Double Hopped IPA but for better balance we have five different malts creating an India Pale Ale of amazing flavor and depth. With total of six hop additions, the IBU’s is in the 74 range, so you know it is an big IPA, but the malts give it plenty of backbone.

Pale amber, a bit murky, medium head. Medium bitterness, a bit yeasty. Some phenols -ferm is a bit off here. The irony of citing hops as a preservative, but do they really save a beer when the ferm is wonky?
