Bushcraft is a full flavoured light copper coloured session bitter. We’ve added plenty of rye and wheat to the mash, which gives it a slight dryness on the palate. The Pilot and Bramling Cross hops used in the boil work together to give a nice bitter edge with notes of lemon and blackcurrant in the finish.

Hazy amber - red beer. Few pale tan bubbles where a head should be. Palate is light and dry. Mild smoke in the dry malt, slightly ashy which is not great. Repressed fruits - whisper of red berries. Dry finish. Too dry and ashy. Two duffers on the bounce from Arbor! Whatever next?

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Rather weak and boring aroma with some fruityness, caramel hints and bread. The flavor is decently bitter, with bready malts, caramel and a generic fruityness. Quite dry on the palate, with soft carbonation, medium body. Bitter and bready finish. A decent one, but too boring for my likings. 130216
