Pours clear dark brown with a thin head. Aroma of malt and toast. Sweet start with a dry hop bitterness for the palate. Moderate body.

(On tap) Memphis. Black, but not completely opaque, there’s a reddish hue in there, and a creamy, beige head. Malty, lightly burned aroma. Medium-bodied with lots of burned malt leaving some bitterness. Very dry finish. 280306

From a sampler: Pours a dark brown (almost opaque) color with a medium beige head and decent lacing. Strong roasted coffee aroma, along with a little chocolate. Medium body, containing a nice blend of coffee, hops and chocolate flavors. The rich and somewhat bitter coffee-tasting finish is very nice, and I don't even like coffee. Good stuff.
