On tap at Café Abseits, pours a murky orange with some sticky, white head. Nose has those big weizen notes, clove, candy, guava, banana, malt. Flavor is sweet with malt and honey, candy too, curacao orange too, clove, chewing gum. Finishes sweet, nearly full bodied. Overdone for my palate.

Euro-Flasche: Copper coloured, hazy, visible carbonation, medium-sized firm and stable off-white head with a good lace; moderate sweet nose of bananas and caramel with a sourish touch of yeast; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour with a delicate bitter touch, medium bodied, fizzy; lingering drier and "hoppier" finish - fruits and caramel still detectable - with a delicate alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Well balanced and quite pleasant...

(bottle) Cloudy, amber to copper colour with a beige and medium-sized foamy head. Aroma of candied fruits, peaches and traces of banana, accompanied by present wheaty notes and a whiff of cloves. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Juicy malty, mildly wheaty taste with candied fruity notes, shades of banana, clovy spice and a whiff of herbal hoppy spice far in the background; lingering sweet malty and wheaty finish with present fruity notes and a warming alcoholic bite. Not great but nice. 25.III.17
