(bottle, 75 Jahre Filialkirche Breitenlesau 1934-2009) Clear, golden colour with a big and fluffy foamy white head. Sweet and slightly draffy malty aroma with notes of biscuits, traces of barnyard and a delicately herbal and slightly citrus-fruity hoppy touch. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy on the tongue. Solid malty base with a rural tinge of barnyard and well-balanced hoppy accents; almost dry, malty and moderately hoppy finish with a very subtle fruity touch (24.VI.09).

Bottle (@Gasthof Krug Breitenlesau,, April 2010):Clear, golden, mid-sized to big creamy head, that very slowly collapses; bisquity-grainy nose with a very shy touch of noble hops; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light soft body; delicate but soft and lingering sweetish-hoppy finish. Good franconian quality...
