A simple pour of Rye Lager explores the depth of a malt-forward lager. This limited release manifests a brilliant rustic amber hue while quietly introduces aromas of subtle rye bread, gingerbread and black pepper. Rye Lager’s malty complexity is tethered by a rye snappiness that rounds off with a clean and smooth conclusion.

Deep bright gold. Med head. Rye on the nose and even more rye on the palate. Lots of caramelly malt sweetness, arguably a lot less bitterness than the 35 ibu would indicate. Ok but defintely too sweet for my taste.
