Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Hansen, Zita and HenrikSoegaard for this bottle. Opaque black color with a brown foam. Big aroma, roasty and alcoholic, with honey, chocolate and a bit of dark fruits notes. Very sweet flavor with honey, chocolate and a bit of alcohol heat. Full-bodied. A bit too sweet but still nice.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Thick black beer with a beigeish brown head. Aroma is honey, liquorice, wood and some slight sweet toffeeish notes. Flavour is honey, liquorice, alcohol and some toffee. Wellbalanced, although the alcohol complements the honey sweetness with it’s own sweetness too.

dark brown, sour but very sweet nose with dark chocolate. Very sweet cloying but that is what mead is. With dark chocolate, not so balanced. A bit off, but some what enjoyable.
