The most stupid brewery name ever
Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Black color, it takes a while to pour as it had too much foam; compact brown head. The first impression of the aroma is strong roasted and burnt malts. The first impression of the mouthfeel is very sweet, well, I love sweet beers; the lack of carbonation (by now) increases this feeling; flavor of caramel, chocolate, light coffee, maple syrup; the bitterness probably is not low, but overwhelmed nevertheless.
Syrupy pleasure, not much elegance though.

On tap at ØlFestival 2012. A good looking beer, black body and a minimal sized tan head. The aroma is wonderful, yet a bit simple. Intensely coffee-ish, with alcohol, roasted malts and a honey touch. Some hops show up, but they’re sort of overpowered by the malts. Full-bodied as hell, warming and nicely carbonated, with roasted malts, sweetness, coffee, alcohol and some hoppy bitterness. Lots of sweetness actually, both initially and in the end. The finish with all its sweetness, roasted flavors and alchol lasts for a really long time. A wonderful beer, should be sold in miniature nip size bottles though. 120510

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and candy sugar. The flavor is sweet iwth notes of alchohol, honey, hard roasted malt, and chocolate, as well as light notes of dextrose, leading to a dry roasted finish.

100ml (and not only 50ml), tap, at Ølfestival 2012. Black as pitch, low brownish body. Roasted malty sweetness to the nose. Dark honeyed malts in flavour entwined with dark berries. The long-lived ending is on the alcoholic sweet side of bittersweet. Heavy stuff, more suitable as a late night sipper at home than on a beer festival (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).
