Where Eagles Dare is a double-dry hopped Northeast style IPA brewed in collaboration with Bright Eye Brewing of Kamloops. It's loaded exclusively with hops from New Zealand, where some of the most sought after and unique hops are currently being grown. Expect notes of candied fruit from the Rakau hops, citrus and tropical fruits from the Motueka, and a unique sauvignon blanc character from the star of the show, Nelson Sauvin.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Pale yellow colour, cloudy to murky. Aroma of white grapes. Oaty mouthfeel, creamy, good body but very little residual sweetness; quite good juice from the hops, it's tropical, fresh, not the classic nelson Sauvin I knew long time ago. Some astringency in the finish.
Good hop expression, but partially twisted by the chalkiness.

Poured from 473mL can (date stamped 2022 Apr 21). Dull murky blonde with white head. Lots of gooseberry, light grapefruit hops, touch of chalk. Decent.

Opaque and a dullish sort of pale. Thin head. Bright lychee, gooseberry and semi-dry apricot on the nose. So lots of hops. Big bodied for its size, and with a fair bit of bitterness. That brings more grapefruity hop notes into this, along with the lychee and stone fruit connection. The malts are a bit on the drier side, but decent, and while it's a touch yeasty it's nothing too crazy there. So fairly good balance.
