Brewed in Klaipėda since 1995, Švyturys Amber is an example of a light summertime beer and the leader in this category. The way of the weak Amber to the hearts of Lithuanians was not easy: it would be continuously lightened and perfected to finally match the expectations of both Švyturys’s technologists and the consumers.

Bottled. A yellow beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of caramel and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, brewing cereal, and hay, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

0,5 l. bottle as Svyturys Amber Beer. Clear, paler golden colour with a small, dense head. Not amber at all...! Sweet aroma with cooked vegetables, grasses and a pleasant hint of fruitiness. Light sweetness. Light to medium body, lively carbonated. Short finish with pale malts and a grassy bitterness. Fruity details are nice however, nothing extraordinary. Not better than e.g. Carlsberg Lager.
