The nostalgic flavours of rootbeer and cola candies in this beer are 100% from the base beer, spice additions, and barrel aging. No candy was added! We took a spiced old ale, made with fresh ginger, molasses, cinnamon, and cloves, and aged it in a Malbec barrel for 19 months. Malty and lightly tart with notes of ginger, lemon lime, molasses, dark sugar, oak, and spice. Vegan friendly.

Ha! Ok this is fun. It does taste like cola bottles. Sugary and tart, with that funny fruity notes that could have some cherry in it, and maybe a splash of sarsaparilla too. The description tells me they took the scenic route to get here and might have just named the beer after they tasted it. Still, hilarious.
