Brewed on Veteran's Day with a group of Yakima's first responders, this hazy IPA features the 2021 Yakima Chief Hops Veterans’ Blend. The hop blend benefits the nonprofit K9s for Warriors, which works to end veteran suicide and return our disabled American heroes to a life of dignity and independence by rescuing and training shelter dogs to be paired as Service Dogs for Warriors. Named for a 1920's poem honoring Army Cavalry soldiers: "Halfway down the trail to Hell in a shady meadow green, are the Souls of all dead troopers camped near a good old- time canteen, and this eternal resting place is known as Fiddlers' Green." In memory of Sgt. Joe Deccio.

Sampled from the tap at the Ballard location. Pours a hazy bright yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has citrus and light papaya with a bit of sweet grain underlying. Flavor has slightly juicy citrus with some earthy papaya and a hunt of grass in the finish c

Opaque, yellow, thin head. Weedy, oniony, malts are a bit thin, but the hops are a good time.
