We took a classic style plisner, hopped it up with a healthy dose of Calista dry hops and the result is a crisp refreshing lager with a bright hoppy finish.

So this slightly hazy DH pilsner has a bit of a dull look to it. Thin head. Touch grassy aroma. On the palate, similar. Some fruity notes that speak to non-traditional (tropical) hops - but I can see why Calista is a choice worth making. Just comes across in a funny way. The malts are clunky, and leave too much sweetness in the finish. Not hitting. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you can’t dry hop your way out of it.
