The first few editions were given numbers, but this one wasn't. I'll try to log them by ingredients. I actually don't know if this is sort of a solera thing or if they're all built from scratch. The soapberry version of Celebrating Sisters has a dullish colour, pale but with a slightly purple hint. Thin head. Tart, refreshing, with just a touch of berry accent. It doesn't feel like a rye pale, but the original was a rye pale aged in wine barrels so maybe they're continuing with that theme. Good beer, if you're not looking for a rye pale. And at Jackknife, I recommend not taking styles too seriously.
