Bottle. More or less black body, topped by a dense, creamy beige head of moderate size. Lots of vanilla in the aroma, roasted malts, coffee and a little sourish hint. Some sweetness in the flavor, but it’s quite dry, with lots of carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee, vanilla and some sourish maltyness in the flavor. Full-bodied and lightly oily on the palate. Lasting finish with roasted malts, chocolate and vanilla. Quite decent, but sort of messy. 140608

Opaque dark brown beer with a big fluffy tan head. Airy dry palate with fine carbonation. Brown malts with a little tang. Trace of Camp Coffee. Finishes dry and airy. An over carbonated plain porter. Meh!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy reddish brown with a lively light brown head. Lively and dissipating as a soda pop head. Medium body, very, very lively nose - the kind that almost gets in your nose. Some sweetish roast but also some yeast and phenol character. Roasted malt bitter finish. Not a bad beer, but has some flaws in this incarnation. 140313

Bottle @ fonefan berliner weisse, cream ale multistate tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are dominated by prickling from the carbonation so it can be hard to distinguish. But behind the carbonation some notes of fruits, roast malt, caramel and hops.
