Opaque dull tannish colour. Not all that attractive. On the nose and palate both it's a muddle brew. Lots of hops but it's hard to get anything distinctive. The malts are messy, oats probably don't help, and the alcohol kicks into the finish before I really figure out what's going on. Strata does nothing for me, but it's really more the structure that doesn't work here, in terms of weak malts, hops that lack brightness and alcohol that comes in too early and stays too late. This one's disappointing.
