Ahoy-ahoy matey. This double "Aye"0PA is so big it's hard to fathom. We bring you this delicious brew with intense tropical flavours and aromas, a soft body and opaque appearance. An immense amount of late and dry hopping gives this beer its tropical, juicy character. Heaps of oats and wheat provide enough backbone to stand up to the hops.

Can. Opaque. So yeah, a dull pale amber colour with a thin head. Not super attractive and doesn't give me much sense of what's going on here. The aroma is old school DIPA, mostly piney, grapefruity hops, but with a touch of alcohol and harsh phenols. On the palate, those harsh phenols comes across more clearly as alcohol. The malts aren't great, just being weak with a touch of old school chewiness. The hops are similar - just some c-hop stuff in a dullish format. All the expected elements of a DIPA are here, and nothing in particular wrong with any of them, but none of them dance nor do they make each other dance. And so it falls flat.
