Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6
Dark amber-brown. With a thin head. Toasty, and a fair bit of up front coffee notes. The coffee is a bit harsh – not a lot of sugars in the body to balance it, or not enough anyway, but also it’s kind of a harsh extraction.
