Pale amber and a bit hazy. The aroma is chewy, sorta cheesy old hops and too much crystal malt, even though it doesn’t look like that would be the case. Moderate bitterness, and thankfully on the palate the malts bring a decent biscuity note to go along with all that chewy stuff. I could see this being a nice cask ale, but comes across so assertively chewy it’s tough to work through. Dated recipe, served fresh.
