(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a beige and short foamy head. Roasty malty and spicy aroma with caramel, earthy notes and a subtle fruity hoppy touch. Sweet and discreetly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Roast-malty and earthy base with notes of caramel, marzipan/almonds and a mildly fruity, almost vinous touch towards the sweet and slightly roasty bitter finish with spicy hops and a tinge chocolate in the aftertaste. Pretty good. 15.XII.10

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, clear, stable tanned head; moderate sweet roasty-caramelly nose with discreet traces of dried fruits; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, soft; almondy traces in the sweet-caramelly and vinous-fruity finish with a slight spicy hoppiness as a counterweight. Really good.........
