Appearance: Black colour with a big creamy beige topp. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Frutiy, dark malt and slightly sour.
Palate: Medium to full body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness.
Flavor: Nice complex flavor. Fruity and grape hoppy, with some roasted malt and chocolate.
Overall impression: Nice black IPA with a well hidden alcohol. Just felt it had a bit unpleasant and unbalanced sweetness
Location: Bottle from a trade with rlgk

Bottled. Black with rich, firm beige head. Aroma of citrus and pineapple with espresso behind. Mid sweet with near full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Concentrated flavours of tar, licorice and citrus. Potent warming finish with earthy licorice and long bitterness. A well made solid beer, exploring the borderline between two newly invented styles - imperial porter and black IPA.

33cl Bottle at Lost Property. Great to see Swedish beers here, especially for a Dutch price (€3,50). Black colour, rocky light beige head. Aroma of sweet milk chocolate, cocoa, moccha, a bit milky. Flavour is a lot less sweet than expected, lots of hard roasted malts, light ashy, firm grapefruit bitterness, light bitter chocolate, cold coffee, good hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft mouthfeel. Good beer, more a hoppy porter than a Black IPA imo.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours an opaque black with a vague orange hue and a frothy and lacing light brown head. Fresh citrusy hops atop a subtle roastiness. Medium body, vanillaish roast, citrusy and fruity with a roasty bitter finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. Very pleasant. 301012
