(bottle) Hazy, dark brown colour with a small beige foamy head. Sweet and yeasty dark and toasted malty nose with notes of red berries, accompanied by notes of caramel and moderate phenolic spices. Slightly sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Toasty malty, slightly wheaty and ashy taste with shy fruity notes; Slim and slightly toasty and wheaty finish with a light touch of cloves. Rather mediocre Dunkelweizen. 28.X.09

Bottle (by kind permission of Quack-Duck!): Hazy, amber coloured, slowly collapsing loose off-white head; caramelly-wheaty nose with a tinge of vegetables; light bodied, light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour; caramelly-sourish finish. Drinkable, but not impressive at all.........

bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy brown colour, large head. Malty nose. Malty background with some spicy hoppy flavours and a touch of chocolate and caramel, but rather shy. An inoffensive, smooth and wel-balanced Dunkelweizen.
