Cask @ The Curator, LHR Terminal 3 (as Curator 's Compass Golden IPA). Smooth, sweetish and slightly fruity with some earthy notes, toffee, hay and caramel. Decent, quite light bodied and watery golden ale.

Part of my 2013 backlog. Clear golden colour with thick white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is sweet malt, not much hops for an IPA.

[Cask at the Hinds Head, Bray, Berkshire - thanks to my wife for taking me!] Light amber with a moderate white head and a light, frothy carbonation. A mellow, fruity beer with orange and lemon flavours. Very comforting and happy-feeling, and a pleasant surprise coming from Greene King!

Cask at the ’Quinns Head’ pub inside Twickenham Stoop Rugby ground during half time of the Harlequins vs London Welsh game - 07/09/12. Clear golden with a medium white head that retains well. Floral hops in the aroma, citrus notes and slightly perfumed. Not as much of that usual GK smell! Tastes of hops, apricot, passion fruit, a decent mix of tropical fruits for GK, sweet malts. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation lending to a sweetish dry finish.

Nice looking golden ale with small white head but also a fine body that retains a pleasant and light malty taste.
