Hazy, purplish-brown. No head. Lots of blackcurrant aroma, with a bit of white wine barrel. Heavy toastiness, like unaged oak, shit that's intense tannins. Light barrel, man if you walk through a neighbourhood where everybody is burning a fire at night, it comes across like this, that toastiness. Not refined, but it's intense and complex and I can absolutely dig it.

750ml (thx, Greg G.!) @ Ryan's shared with Faress and Josh. Appearance: dark copper with some copper notes. Aroma: black currants, farmhouse, and oak notes. Taste: along the same lines, a bit more on the acidic side, lots of black currants. Overall: pretty good.
