Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing to lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, wood. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, platic - rubber bitter, harsh - acrid, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120503]

Cask-conditioned at the Minehead Beer Festival, 8/09/2012. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, malty beer, with some decent fruit and a gently bitter finish. Fine.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, woode, mildly toffeeish and some slight caramelly notes. Flavour is big time salted liquorice, some hoppyness and sweet malts as well. Rather nice one!
