Would you say we have a plethora of El Guapo beers? Maybe not a plethora, but two versions, a light summer and a dark winter are pretty damn good! El Guapo Oscuro takes our Mexican light lager and adds some dark malt to give it a touch of roast, while remaining crispy and so, so refreshing, especially if you squeeze a lime into it

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6.5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 6.5
Dark brown pour, excellent off white head of foam, excellent lacing and retention.
Smell is toffee, grainy, toasted malt, hints of dark chocolate.
Taste is toffee, dark chocolate, light sweet notes, toasted malt with some grain. Something in the aftertaste does not agree with me, though.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5
12 oz can from AE, 12/18/23. Pours a medium brown with a tan head. Caramel, toffee, roast, bread, and grains. Touch of spice. Flavorful. Easy drinking. Quite good.
