Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2017. Tasting glass to finish the festival. Seems like Brabant is getting better & better at crystallizing their vision / ideas and hitting a unique profile. Very hazy orange, little off-white head. Nose is thick warming rich cognac, cognac is more firmly in the nose than in the taste, rich oak, cognac mixed with strong raw pine hop, great marriage. Taste is thick, pleasantly boozy, hop are huge, massive, raw, pine,... cognac isn’t that present but mellow out & perfectly balances the beer for me, warming, big bitterness, lower cognac & vanilla oak. Very thick, bitter raw bitter grass body. Really good stuff here.

At Zythos 2017. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is wood, spices, sweat, malts. Body is heavy, sweet, and with a strong boozy cognac flavour, very surprising. Long sweet palate. Weird nose, otherwise good.

Tap. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is grassy, not so much oak or cognac yet. Taste is grassy hops, cognac, raisins, warming finish. Some milky yeasts as well. Oily mouthfeel. Excellent, albeit sharp and some might find it overdone.

Vollmundiger, hopfig holziger Antrunk. Alkoholische Noten, leicht grasig, alkoholisch, was aber nicht sonderlich stört. Spritzig, mittellanger, weich hopfiger Nachhall. 9/8/9/9//9
