Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 14/06/2012. Almost black in colour with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of chlorate with some dark fruit and liquorice. Slightly thin mouth feel, with chocolate flavours, some rustiness and a dry finish. Fine.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. More or less black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, dark fruits, some liquorice and mild earthy notes. Flavour is very similar in a nice balance. Bramling Cross suits this stout very well.
