Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a cloudy dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty cola and dark fruits. The flavor was malty and bitterish with a bit of caramel, wood and an astringent undertone. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Draft. Body is kind of amber with a sweet aroma and a little bit of hops in the flavor. Pretty bland and hard to separate from the ESB.

Creamy head with a slight staw aroma. Color of darker cream soda or lighter root beer. Initial palate is pretty flat. Earthy flavors with some hints of fruit or flowery taste. Finish is mild building bitterness, but justbarely.
