At a tasting, thanks Vova, smallish head, murky, very hazy deep brown colour, aroma of caramel, nuts and prunes, flavor of caramel, cola, very dark bread and some dark fruits. Very sweet but still quite interesting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Vova. Brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate, nutty notes, fruitiness and oxidation. Very sweet flavor, caramelly, with stale chocolate, nuts, fruitiness and alcohol. Medium-bodied. Not my thing.

Bottle at la Cave à Bulles, Paris, courtesy of Brendon, bb Dec 2012, possibly 3 years old
Dark mahogany color, generous head. Nice, mature aroma, caramel, cereals, bran, light chocolate, very light vanilla and leather; some oxidisation; complex and interesting. Good body, chocolatey, sweet, but with a bit too much oxidisation and some unwanted liquorice.
Very good.
