Cloudy brown with a short head. Aroma of malt and cinnamon. Flavour is tangy spice, cinnamon, Christmas hints all over this one.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Tawny brown, almost clear, with a ring of white head. Aroma bring soft sweet cooking slice and a little stone fruit... very festive indeed if that little bit muted. While there's some sweetness in the initial taste, the bitter astringency of the hop takes hold through to the long finish, with more stone fruit and a woddy quality. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with scant bidy or carbonation. Not all that much to it unfortunately...
