A deep, dark & devastating classic extra stout. Roast notes from the dark malts interwine perfectly with the sweetness from the high finishing gravity to produce silky notes of chocolate & coffee over the top of a firm bitterness on the finish.

Gravity cask at the Pentrich Tap Takeover at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Very dark brown with a purplish hue, opaque with an off-white ring of head. Slate, espresso grounds, a hint of smoke in the aroma. Taste is sweet and strong with notes of sable grape, cooking chocolate and cocoa bitters. Full oily body with soft carbonation. As interesting as it is intense.
