Handpull cask at the Micro Bar, Manchester. Mid- to dark gold, clear, with a white creamy head. Light aroma with some toasty malt and astringent hop notes. Tastes sweet with loads of the almost savoury chewiness of a good thick honey; this is eclisped by the bittering hop in the long finish. Gooseberry, grape and toffee in the aftertaste. Not mind-blowing but certainly decent.
