Bottle delivered from the Blue Boar, Leicester, and drunk at home. Dark broen, only slightly translucent. Quickly disappearing beige head. Light aroma, some chocolate malt, coffee grounds. Sweet malty taste with prominent cocoa disappears mid-sip, allowing the exposed bitter hops to go unchallenged through to the long finish. Heavy carbonation. Very nice.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges and a foamy head. Chocolate, rye and hints of berries in the aroma. Chocolatey taste with blackcurrant, raisins and chocolate covered nuts. A tasty mild.
