Keg draught at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Light yellow and clear with lots of visible carbonation and a thin uneven white head. A bit of the gluey, corny and hay-ey notes prevalent in the smell of many mid-range lagers. Taste is a cut and a half above: sweet with lemon and light berry character, tempered by a gentle bittering hoppiness near the finish. Light body with heavy carbonation. Full of character and one of Everards' better beers.
