Zwodder is an Old English word that has fallen out of everyday conversation. I think we can all agree, it needs to be revived. If you are in a ‘Zwodder’, you are said to be in a drowsy, muddled-headed or hazy state of mind – we’ve all been there before! Zwodder is a moreish session pale ale packed full of full-bodied, rich and smooth flavours. Using hops from the UK, this ale was designed to be enjoyed long into the night with floral notes and hints of mango and passion fruit. There’s no doubt you’ll soon embrace the Zwodder!

Clear aple gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a soft lemon biscuits aroma. Smooth and creamy, plenty of biscuit malt with mellow citrus bitterness, a touch of hop character and a dry finish.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. It pours mid- to dark gold, clear with a small frothy white head. Light scent of grass, herbs, a touched of spiced orange peel. Taste is quite bitter almost immediately with a fairly harsh bitter finish, all other characteristics disappearing except for light caramel in the aftertaste. Soft carbonation. It's pretty basic stuff but served in very good condition bringing out its best.
