Clear aple gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a soft lemon biscuits aroma. Smooth and creamy, plenty of biscuit malt with mellow citrus bitterness, a touch of hop character and a dry finish.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. It pours mid- to dark gold, clear with a small frothy white head. Light scent of grass, herbs, a touched of spiced orange peel. Taste is quite bitter almost immediately with a fairly harsh bitter finish, all other characteristics disappearing except for light caramel in the aftertaste. Soft carbonation. It's pretty basic stuff but served in very good condition bringing out its best.
