Handpull cask perfectly poured at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark brown, fairly opaque with a ring of beige head and a lot of lacing. Lots of liquorice in the aroma, woody notes, touches of sweet spice. A little sweetness in the taste, liquorice, ashy notes, horehound candy. Dry finish. Weighty body for the ABV, light carbonation. Really good.
