There’s treasure on these islands. Our rich, golden, traditional India Pale Ale is one of the most precious. Brewed from pale ale, roasted malts and a unique blend of hops from faraway shores, its crisp, balanced, herbal-citric style is ideal with spicy foods and grilled meats. An IPA with true island character.

--Bottled, from Alliance, St. Helier. -- Clear amber, mid sized head. Rather intense floral citrus aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bready with some butter. Citrus and hay, honey and some vegetable notes. Mid bitter finish.

500ml bottle, thanks to my Mum bringing it back for me to tick Jersey off my country list. Aroma of sweet malts, mildly citrusy hops. Taste is sweet and malty, caramel, some citrusy hops, finishes moderately bitter with a little overriding sweetness. Medium bodied. Actually not too bad.

Bottle thanks to JerseyIslandBeer. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Creamy off white head. Nose - brown bread and dried orange. Light spice. Taste - fruitcake, candied orange, woodspice, pine and lime. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy texture and balanced bitterness on the finish. Overall - traditional and well made.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 19, thanks Jeremy for bringing this back from your travels. Pours amber with a faint mist, frothy white head. Taste is a bit twiggy, thin, malty, not much hop action besides a firm bitterness. Ok-ish.

500ml bottle; BB Sep 2020. brought back from Guernsey by me and shared at the 30th Sep 2019 Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. Clear body, golden amber, white topping. Pretty malty and fairly sweet for an IPA, but my sweet tooth liked it.
