Handpull cask at the Globe, Everards. Mid- to dark gold and clear with an off-white film of head and lots of lacing. Grassy aroma, some white grape, baked bread. Some astringency. Taste is nicely balanced with a good bitterness from the outset. Citrus notes for a short period before disappearing into a long bitter finish. Light body with minimal carbonation. Good beer from Everards.
